AVIS Car Rental at Adelaide Airport

At Adelaide Airport the Avis counter is located at Atura Circuit, Arrivals Avenue, tel +61 8 8154 2444. The Avis counter is open from 6.00 am to 11.00 pm every day of the week, except on Saturdays, when the counter is open from 6.00 am to 10.30 pm. Pickup of vehicles is within a short walk of the terminal.

Avis is just one of many car rental suppliers at Adelaide Airport.

Downtown Adelaide has another Avis depot. It is located only 3.64 miles from the airport, at 136 North Terrace (tel +61 8 8114 3111). This depot is open on Saturday and Sunday from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm.

Credit cards accepted by both depots are Avis Charge Card, American Express, Diner's Club, Mastercard and Visa. Prepaid or reloadable cards are not accepted, and neither is cash.

The minimum age for renters is 21 years. Renters aged 21 to 24 pay an additional young driver's fee per day and they are restricted to smaller vehicles, for example Group A vehicles (Economy Manual) and the Compact Group B vehicles and Intermediate Group C, Standard Group D and Group S Compact SUV's. There are also several larger vehicle types that young drivers cannot rent.

Loss Damage Waiver is included in all rentals, reducing customer's liability from the full value of the Avis vehicle to the standard excess amount. Additional cover can be purchased at the time of making a reservation or at the counter at Adelaide Airport.

The Avis Adelaide Airport fleet includes Signature Series cars like the BMW 330i, or the Toyota Hilux SR5 from Group XZ, the Intermediate Group Hyundai i30 Active Hatch or the Economy Manual Group (A) Holden Barina. In the Compact Group B there is also the Kia Rio, ideal for driving in cities like Adelaide.
